👉 You don’t usually wake up one day and decide, “I’m a caregiver.”
It often happens quietly — in small moments that slowly become part of your everyday life.

If you’re doing these things, you may already be a caregiver ⬇️

1- You’re probably a caregiver if you can recite your loved one’s medication list faster than their phone number

2- You’re probably a caregiver if you keep track of everyone’s appointments but not yours

3- You’re probably (or definitely) a caregiver if you know the difference between Medicare and Medicaid

4- You’re probably a caregiver if you answer unknown numbers because it might a doctor, an appointment, a billing...

5- You’re probably a caregiver if you’ve adjusted your schedule around their needs and check in constantly “just to make sure they’re okay.

If you said yes to even one these, you’re not just helping out. You’re a Caregiver ✨ and you deserve support, too.

Our Story

Home Health Companions is a licensed home health provider offering in-home companion and caregiver services, private duty nursing and aging life care services to clients in 13 Dallas-area counties. We offer specialized care for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients, as well as care for those with Parkinson’s Disease and cancer.

Compassionate caregivers and nurses deliver health and daily living services 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Care plans are custom tailored to meet a range of needs, like simple companionship and conversation, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, transportation and medication reminders. Certified nursing assistants can help clients recover after hospitalization and avoid hospital re-admission.

Our licensed nurses provide one-on-one medical care, responding to changing health needs while working closely with the client’s medical team to provide the appropriate level of care. Care can include: medication management, post-operative care, pain management, wound care, diabetic care, heart disease and hypertension, respiratory therapy, stroke recovery, incontinence care and Foley / colostomy care.

A certified Aging Life Care professional, also known as a geriatric care manager, is on staff and available to guide families through all care options, selecting the appropriate choices for the best care possible, removing worry and stress. Monitoring health and observing mental and behavioral changes creates a safe environment that allows clients to age in place.
