How today supports Center for ASD -

The first day of school (or a new ABA clinic!) is just around the corner, and for many children, transitions can bring big feelings.

Whether your child is starting school for the first time, returning after summer break, or beginning therapy at one of our clinics, taking these small steps now to get prepared can help ease the transition.

✅ Visit the school or clinic in advance
✅ Practice routines like waking up earlier and packing a bag
✅ Use visuals or social stories to walk through what to expect
✅ Celebrate small wins and stay flexible - every child adjusts at their own pace

If you need extra support or have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or BCBA. We’re all part of the same team and here to support you every step of the way!

She brings precision and patience into every session—and we couldn’t be more grateful! Whether she’s making waves with creative programs or calmly guiding her learners through big breakthroughs, she’s as cool as a lavender tea and twice as refreshing. She’s a salt and vinegar chip fan (strong flavor, strong leadership!), a swimming enthusiast, and totally fascinated by sharks. And honestly, with the way she fearlessly takes on challenges, we’re starting to think she might be part shark herself.

Whether she’s navigating tough calls or lifting spirits, she does it with heart—and maybe a few peanut butter M&Ms tucked away for fuel. She’s a PF Chang’s enthusiast, a Hawaiian Slush Alanis fan (with taste as bold as her vision), and she’s dreaming of Grecian escapes full of sunshine, sea views, and serenity. For now, we’re lucky her journey brought her to us—because leading with warmth and wisdom? That’s her superpower.
