Why is it important to eat with the seasons? 🧐
When we eat foods that are “in season” and grown locally, you are getting nutrient packed goodness with all of your food! Food that is grown during the appropriate time of year, tastes better, looks better, and is better for you. It also helps support what your body needs during that season!
As we approach the holidays and cold and flu season, it is important that we give our bodies hearty, nutrient dense food to support our immune system and sustain us in the cold months.
