Recovery isn't Rest--It's Adaptation
Recovery is often misunderstood. Most people think recovery means stopping—taking a day off, sleeping in, or “doing nothing.” But true recovery isn’t passive. It’s the body’s ability to adapt, repair, and come back stronger after stress. The question isn’t whether stress exists—it’s whether your body can efficiently respond to it. A simple takeaway: Don’t just ask, “Am I resting enough? Ask, “Is my body adapting well to the stress I place on it?”
