TRUTH BOMB TUESDAY💣

Each stage of a relationship shows you a new version of love and a new version of yourself. Every phase has its own lessons, and it’s normal to feel stretched, surprised, or slightly confused along the way. ~ Michelle

Helen’s House, alongside Maze of Life, attended the 10th Annual Survivors’ Luncheon hosted by Annie’s Gifts of Love Charitable Foundation. The afternoon brought together survivors, advocates, leaders, and supporters for conversations centered around healing, resilience, and community.

A meaningful part of the event was being able to raise $700 in support of Annie’s Gifts of Love Charitable Foundation and the work they continue doing for survivors.

We’re thankful to have shared space with organizations and individuals committed to showing up for people in real, tangible ways.

TRUTH BOMB TUESDAY 💣

Growth sometimes means leaving behind people or patterns that no longer fit who you’re becoming. You’re allowed to evolve, even if it means stepping out of versions of yourself that once felt familiar.

At Maze of Life, community impact is part of the work we do every day!

Kasey and Shaun recently visited Nancy J. Cochran Elementary for Career Day, where they spent time with 3rd–5th grade students sharing what CAMS professionals do and leading conversations about anger, emotional awareness, and healthy ways to manage emotions.

The students brought energy and curiosity to every discussion. Opportunities like this are so valuable! They help young people understand how their emotions today can shape how they navigate school, relationships, and life tomorrow.

We’re grateful to support and encourage the next generation both inside and outside the community.

TRUTH BOMB TUESDAY 💣

Love can’t be one‑sided. A relationship is worth the effort, but it only works when both people show up, try, repair, and invest. If you’re the only one fighting, it stops being a partnership and starts becoming a solo mission that inevitably leads to relationship failure. ~ Michelle

This June, a new journey begins.

Our next Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS) course is opening soon, and it’s about so much more than anger. It’s about understanding emotions, communication patterns, triggers, boundaries, and the deeper layers of self-awareness that shape how we show up in everyday life.

Some people join because they’ve personally struggled with anger and want healthier tools. Others feel called to help others heal and grow through facilitating CAMS classes within their communities, organizations, or professional work.

Either way, the process changes you.

This certification offers a holistic approach to emotional wellness that helps people better understand themselves while learning practical ways to support others. The conversations are meaningful. The growth is real. And the tools learned extend far beyond the classroom.

If you’ve been looking for a way to grow personally while also making an impact professionally, this may be the next step for you.

Enrollment for our June CAMS course is now open. All information regarding availability and opportunities at Maze of Life can be found through the link in our bio.
