Beautiful Birth at Origins Birth and Wellness Collective - Dallas You ladies were amazing!
I’m not sure who to ask or where to look—
Does anyone know of someone around Irving who can baby sit and drop off to daycare early in the morning? I have to leave for work after 6 AM 3-4 days a week, and daycares don’t open until 6:30-7 around Irving. I also don’t always have family who can come early.
I’ve looked on care.com but it’s my understanding you have to pay for a membership?
Hi there! We are looking for a part-time babysitter for our almost 5 month old boy. We would like to start with 2 days a week for a few hours, and possibly work up to more later on.
We have two large dogs, and live in East Dallas. If you, or someone you know may be interested, feel free to send me a direct message. Thank you for your consideration!
So much love for this strong, gorgeous mama and her adorable little girl. With plans to birth at a birth center, one thing she was looking forward to was the herbal bath. When plans changed and baby needed to be born at the hospital I know how much she longed for this peaceful time together. So thankful for Origins Birth and Wellness Collective - Dallas for supporting this postpartum herbal bath. Aren't mom and baby stunning?!?!
I've said it before, but I'll say it again... Birth stories are love stories.
There is nothing like dreaming of starting a family, the journey of pregnancy and then working together to meet the tiny person you've been so excited for.

Please welcome Chandler Reid Beck to the world! He decided to join us FOUR weeks early!
Born 3/25/21 at 7:17pm
6lbs5oz, 19" long
Healthy as can be, especially considering his early timing!
Waking up in the middle of the night with prematurely ruptured membranes at 36 weeks was never anything we expected to happen.
Needless to say we didn’t get the home birth we had been planning with Origins, but it didn’t keep them from supporting my labor the ENTIRE time - information, advocacy, and encouragement through correspondence the entire time I was at Baylor laboring. And then when I was ready for more support Amy Fagan Tate came to offer incredible hands on support and words of encouragement. She was just the extra I needed to see it through unmedicated!! Even on Pitocin the entire time. I delivered vanginally on hands and knees and brought my baby to my chest (kind of - more like belly, short cord problems 😂)
It was a wild ride, we were totally unprepared, but we moved through it with open minds and allowed Chandler to write his own birth story ❤️ One I could never have dreamed up!
I guess I won’t be needing the traveling birth tub after all!!!
We have a healthy baby boy 7.4 lbs 😍 thanks ladies for coming to check on me and the baby
It may still be cold outside ❄️, but our hearts are so warm after this birth☀️🥰💦!

No, this is NOT a s*x toy. I repeat. This is DEFINITELY not a s*x toy. Hit up my bio for a link to my latest blog post. It is ALL about the pelvic floor. This isn't limited to prenatal or postpartum either. (And Pelvic Floor issues aren't exclusive to women either, but I'm sharing MY experience and perspective, so it's definitely female focused).
We do NOT talk enough about what goes on with our core. We hit the gym hard. Ignore the fact that we might have peed a little when we did that squat. We 'push through' painful s*x to get it over with, we don't or**sm. Our teenage girls can't fit a tampon in because it hurts SO bad. And guess what? It all goes back to PELVIC FLOOR. To read more about it, head over to my blog.
Go to
https://www.tiffanymeyerwellness.com/post/pelvic-floor to read. If you find it helpful, please SHARE. We really don't talk about it enough. And we really, really need to do a better job educating women on symptoms and issues they shouldn't HAVE to deal with in silence. If you have questions, let me know. I'm totally fine with sharing beyond what is shared in my post!! And for some great accounts to follow, check out The Va**na Whisperer and Lauren Roxburgh.

We sure are missing our midwives!!
✨Delayed Cord Clamping ✨
As midwives, you never have to fight us on delayed cord clamping. We will never cut the cord prematurely (unless it’s emergent) until your sweet babe has gotten every bit of cord blood they need. Baby will go straight to your chest and be close to you through the entire process. We typically wait until the cord has stopped pulsing and is completely white before cutting it!
Have you chosen to do delayed cord clamping?
Benefits:
✨Increase in baby’s blood volume
✨Decreased need for blood transfusions
✨Improves circulation
✨Decreases the need for other interventions as baby adjusts to life outside the womb
✨Decreased risk of brain bleeds
✨Easier transition in regards to respiratory efforts and helping baby breathe well after birth
📸 Shoutout to Erin Beth Birth Photography who is one of the best birth photographers in DFW area! It was so fun to work with her at this birth and the lovely midwives over at Origins Birth and Wellness - Dallas! ♥️♥️♥️
