As a board-certified Otolaryngologist, Dr. Pandit is an expert in the medical and surgical treatment of ear, nose and throat disorders including sinus treatments, sleep apnea and snoring, hearing and balance disorders, voice disorders, and head and neck surgery. Dr. Rajiv Pandit attended college at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor as well as the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. A
fter obtaining his Bachelor’s degree he attended Rush Medical College in Chicago for four years to earn his M.D. This was followed by a two-year internship and residency program in General Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Pandit then spent another four years specializing in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, before beginning his practice in Dallas in 2001 and becoming Board-Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Throughout his medical training, Dr. Pandit was actively involved with cutting-edge research in the fields of sinus surgery and head and neck cancer. This led to his contribution in authoring numerous scientific articles and presenting before many medical conferences. After starting his practice in Dallas, Dr. Pandit has appeared on a number of local and nationally syndicated news networks to discuss innovative techniques in the field of Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, & Throat), particularly in the field of minimally invasive sinus surgery. He has also been listed multiple times in D Magazine’s Top Doctors in Dallas. In addition to emphasizing detailed, high quality care with all of his patients, Dr. Pandit encourages a healthy lifestyle and a holistic approach to improve the success of his treatment plans, both surgical and non-surgical. He is also actively involved in teaching and administrative duties with the purpose of improving the patient care experience in both the clinic and hospital setting. In this regard, he currently serves as President of the Medical Staff at Methodist Hospital for Surgery in Addison, and is President of the Dallas Academy of Otolaryngology. He is also Section Chief for the Division of Otolaryngology, and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery, both at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Dr. Pandit is married and the father of two children. He enjoys music, travel, water sports, hiking, photography, and spending time with his family. Pamela Matijevich, PA-C
Pamela Matijevich, PA-C is highly specialized in the field of Ear, Nose, Throat, as well as Head and Neck Surgery. Pam is a board-certified Physician Assistant and an integral part of Dr. Pandit’s team. She is licensed in the state of Texas to practice medicine with physician supervision and is also credentialed to practice in the Methodist Health System. She assists Dr. Pandit in both his clinics and the operating room. Her training includes the use of state-of-the-art surgical techniques, such as laser surgery of the nose, balloon sinus surgery, as well as DaVinci robotic surgery. Pamela is married and enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with her husband, son, and their two dogs. Our Staff
