Anne Baron, 66, has been a part of the MoveStudio family since 2012, when she first discovered us after winning a class pass at a charity auction. Over the years, she’s made fitness and wellness a consistent part of her life, averaging three classes a week. You’ll find Anne in a mix of yoga classes, Full Body Fitness, and the occasional Nia class, all of which complement her active lifestyle of bike riding, hiking, traveling, and unwinding with a good book.

As the owner of Settle in Solutions, a move management business focusing on the relocation of seniors and estate close out services, Anne has a busy, hands-on work schedule, and MoveStudio is her go-to place to recharge after a long day. “I find that the yoga classes help me with physical flexibility and mindfulness,” she shares. “One day an instructor mentioned gratefulness, and I used that reminder to write a difficult email to a client. Strong hips are the foundation of healthy movement. This workshop will guide you through simple, effective exercises to improve hip strength, mobility, and alignment—whether you’re dealing with tightness, weakness, or looking to prevent future issues.

As we age, loss of bone density—especially around the hip’s femur neck—and weakened hip muscles increase the risk of falls, pain in the hips, back, and knees, and reduced mobility. These changes can seriously impact your independence and quality of life. The good news? Targeted movement and strengthening can help turn it around.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:
