Higher Standards Home Health are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee and manage our client care teams. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, appropriate case management, and adherence to all relevant laws and regulations. You will play a crucial role in coordinating, supervising, and developing our nursing staff to provide exceptional care within our agency's scope of services.
Responsibilities:
路 Manage, coordinate, and evaluate delivery of services to home health care and wellness clients
路 Participate in strategic planning for growth, compliance, and financial positioning
路 Assist in developing agency structure, policies, and procedures
路 Foster relationships with attending physicians
路 Direct and support Nurse Case Managers, Therapists, and CNAs for safe and effective care
路 Review referrals, determine services, and assign clinical teams
路 Assist with marketing, PR, and discharge planning efforts
路 Collaborate with quality improvement teams for data review and implementation
路 Enforce HR policies and procedures fairly and consistently
Qualifications:
路 Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN and PHN certification preferred
路 Current Registered Nurse license in state(s) of practice
路 Minimum 2 years nursing experience in acute hospital setting or equivalent, with 1 year of supervisory experience
路 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
路 Knowledge of home care federal and state regulations
路 Familiarity with reimbursement sources and documentation requirements in home health care
路 Valid driver's license and CPR certification
