Winter UV protection necessary?? Absolutely!
Here are my MUST haves for spending time outdoors…snow or shine!❄️🌤☀️
1. Broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. My favorites include Isdin Eryfotona, Elta MD Clear, and Skin Medica Total Defense
and Repair just to name a few. I top off with a layer of Colorescience SPF 50 sunscreen powder. (Obsessed!)
2. UV lip protection. I start with a chapstick with SPF 30 and then layer on Colorescience
Lip Shine with SPF 35.
3. Sunglasses with UV eye protection ( making my ophthalmologist son proud)
4.Clothing with UPF (Ultraviolet
Protection Factor)
5. I also take Heliocare Advanced "sun
vitamins" on days of sun/UV exposure.
6. Remember to reapply sunscreen often when sweating, in wet conditions or prolonged exposure.
