If you know, you know 😅

Most doctors spend less than 2 minutes actually reviewing your chart.

And for a lot of women, it feels like the only question that ever gets asked is:

👉 “When was your last menstrual cycle?”

But your body is so much more than one date on a calendar.

Your symptoms, your history, your patterns ALL matter.

That’s why we spend over an hour reviewing your intake questionnaires befor we even meet, and 75 minutes with you in your initial consultation 💁‍♀️

That’s the difference between:
🚫 “Everything looks normal”
✅ “Here’s what’s going on and what to do about it.”

At Plate and Canvas, when you sit down with us:

✨ We take the time to get your full story including your history, symptoms, patterns, and the details other providers have brushed off.

✨ We map out what’s driving your symptoms so you finally have clarity, not just confusion.

✨ We walk you through a clear game plan for next steps, so you leave the session actually knowing where to go from here.

✨ You have messaging support between sessions because you should never have to figure this out alone.

This is what real care looks like.

The kind every woman deserves.

Comment “BLUEPRINT” and I’ll send you the details on how we work 1:1 with women inside our Wellness Blueprint to help them heal from the inside out 🥰💙

Ever wake up at 2–3 AM and have no idea why? 💕👇🏼

A client came to me this week exhausted and frustrated.

She’d fall asleep fine but like clockwork, she’d wake up between 2–3 AM.

Sometimes she could go back to sleep, but many nights she would lie there wide awake for hours.

After some detective work during her initial assessment, I figured out why.

She was under eating.

Not only was she accidentally under-eating throughout the day, but her dinner was usually just protein + veggies.

When you blood sugar dips too low, one of two things happens:

1️⃣ You eat something to bring it back up
2️⃣ You don’t eat something, so your body releases cortisol (a stress hormone) to bring it back up for you

If you blood sugar gets low while you’re sleeping, that cortisol spike can either jolt you awake feeling restless or wake you with actual hunger.

Your body isn’t trying to sabotage your sleep. It’s trying to protect you!

You just have to give it the fuel it needs.

Have you ever noticed a pattern of waking up around 2–3 AM?
