College Connection Camp provides a fun, interactive, and enriching college experience to boost academic, social, and independent-living skills. College Connection Camp is a collaboration between the University of Texas at Dallas, Spectra Therapies, and Segue Center.
The camp is ideal for rising high school seniors and recent graduates with high-functioning autism spectrum disorder and/or other challenges to aid in their successful transition to college life. The camp is open to prospective and current students of any college/university, not exclusively the University of Texas at Dallas.

Required Qualifications: Eligible candidates must be a student enrolled in a masters level counseling or doctoral program or have a Texas professional license.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong background in autism. Experience with children and/or adults with autism, Asperger’s, ADHD, anxiety, depression, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Social Thinking, and facilitating groups.
Supervisor: LPC supervision provided through Spectra Therapies + Evaluations.
Compensation: All positions are compensated.
Schedule: Flexible schedule. After school hours are a must.
Clinic services include:
● All ages: toddlers through late adulthood
● Individual and family therapies
● Parent training and sibling support
● Social skills groups and other groups for all ages – over 10 groups
● Conducting evaluations for all ages (18 months through late adulthood): psychological / psychoeducational / vocational / autism
● Texas Workforce Commission
● School Advocacy
● Transition services
● And more!

Our providers have training from and/or previously worked at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (UTSW), the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD), Children’s Medical Center of Dallas (CMC), Center for BrainHealth (CBH), and Our Children’s House at Baylor, Easter Seals. Additionally, providers have taught or provided comprehensive psychoeducational and autism evaluations at various independent school districts, and currently conduct research and teaching services with students.
