$80 PPU LHE neighborhood.
EVERYTHING for spoiled Guinea pigs. Two girls 2-3 years old. Mom and daughter not seen other pigs for years. Get along well and easy to take care of. Just feed daily, replace water weekly and clean cage weekly. Cleaning pads and about two months or more if food in photo.
A little litter box trained but still p**p around on pads. Never bit anyone and used to lots of kids to only weekly attention.

GREAT Harvard Health article below highlighting this concern.

While there is growing awareness of the complex nature of obesity, many people still experience implicit or overt bias from their doctors and other health care providers. Understanding how this affects the health of people with obesity is a step toward eliminating it.

Great kid friendly snack ideas...
Try to get a fibrous starch and protein mix to satiate.

Cut-up veggie sticks (carrots, celery, bell peppers) with dip, such as salsa, salad dressing, hummus, or nut butter
Whole grain pita slices and hummus
Plain Greek yogurt with fresh berries and chopped nuts
Trail mix (nuts, dried fruit, whole grain pretzels, and dry cereal)
Sliced cheese (Cheddar, Swiss, provolone) or string cheese with pear or apple slices
Ants on a log (celery sticks filled with almond or peanut butter, topped with raisins or dried cranberries, and sprinkled with chopped nuts such as pistachios)
Baked tortilla chips with salsa
Easy pizza: tortilla, or half an English muffin topped with veggies or leftover chicken and sprinkled with cheese and then broiled till bubbly
Nourishing wrap: black beans on a corn tortilla with cheese, zapped in the microwave for 30 to 60 seconds and served with salsa or guacamole.
