Thank you to all veterans!

Today, and every day, we honor the brave men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. We are proud to recognize our veteran colleagues, patients and families whose service and sacrifice embody our mission: Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life. Since 2012, HCA Healthcare has hired more than 65,000 veterans, active-duty and reserve personnel and military spouses.

In honor of , HCA Healthcare is contributing $150,000 to veteran support organizations. This year, HCA Healthcare is giving $50,000 each to Operation Stand Down Tennessee, Creativets and The Honor Foundation – organizations dedicated to helping veterans transition to civilian life and thrive through tailored programs and resources.

“Our veterans exemplify resilience, leadership and a deep commitment to service – qualities that enrich our organization,” said Sherri Crowley, chief culture and values officer at HCA Healthcare. “We are proud to honor their service, today and every day, and remain dedicated to fostering a workplace that recognizes and uplifts the strengths of our military-connected colleagues.”

We’re also honored to share that VIQTORY has recognized HCA Healthcare as a Military Friendly® Employer for the 15th consecutive year, earning a Gold designation for the third year in a row. We’re equally proud to be named a Gold-designated Military Spouse Friendly Employer and ranked among the nation’s top 10 employers for military spouses.

Are you experiencing hip pain but wondering if it might actually be coming from your spine? 🤔 You're not alone! It's a common confusion because these two areas are so closely linked.
Understanding the difference can help you describe your symptoms more accurately to your doctor and get the right treatment faster.

Here's a quick guide to help you differentiate:
🦴 Hip-Related Pain usually means: Pain in the groin or front of the hip.
👟Worsens with hip movement (e.g., rotating your leg).
May feel stiff in the hip joint.

🧠 Spine-Related Pain often means: Pain in the back of the hip or buttocks.
☄️May shoot down the back of the leg (sciatica) with numbness or tingling.
🪑Often changes with spine positions (e.g., better when sitting or leaning forward).

🚩Remember: This is for informational purposes only. Always consult a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plan!

If you're unsure, it's always best to get it checked out. Your health is worth it!

Did you know these have a name?

Dimples of Venus are two symmetrical indentations in the lower back, named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. They are caused by a short ligament tethering the skin to the underlying hip bone, the posterior superior iliac spine. While they are a result of genetics and body fat distribution, their presence or absence has no medical significance.

Caught in the act of being fabulous! When your suit is sharp, your socks are snazzy, and your team won’t let a single lint speck survive. Big things must be coming—because this kind of prep screams “camera-ready and crushing it.”
