As a CrossFit affiliate, our fitness program is based on functionality. Aesthetics are a side effect of our training plan, not our goal. It is our philosophy that your results are a direct reflection of the effort and sacrifice you put forth; we ask you to do nothing that we have not already done. Our only request is that if you use our training, do so with courage and heart. Train to your highest level of intensity and hold nothing back. There is no magic rep scheme or workout; the magic is in your determination and how you overcome your obstacles. As coaches, we are here to provide you with direction and to help you maintain your focus; it is up to you to accept the challenge and become the athlete within yourself.

How long have you been a member at NDCF?

Harish has been CrossFitting since 2008 and Sindu started in 2013. We both joined NDCF in 2015

Why did you start Crossfit?

Crossfit makes fitness easier by programming the workouts for us! We both love that we don’t have to overthink our fitness regime.
Also, it has helped me a lot as a mom, being able to keep up with my kids and with functional fitness aspect of it.
Our children literally grew up watching us workout at NDCF, and are now old enough to work out WITH us!!

What keeps you coming back?
What made you decide to make fitness something you do together—and what’s kept it that way?

Harish is my inspiration! He’s up at 4:30 am every day and in the gym with the regular 0530 crew. Sindu sometimes feel guilty if she doesn’t attend my regular 4 day a week classes.

Favorite crossfit movement?

Harish faves are Burpees and Back squats! Sindhu faves are back squats and dumbbell work outs!

What advice do you have for new members and/or people looking to join who might be intimidated?

I truly believe CF workouts kept me going in my darkest days and stressful times!

What would you tell other couples thinking about starting CrossFit together?”

Inspire each other! Don’t forget to have fun a little fun and compete with each other at times.

What advice do you have for new members and/or people looking to join who might be intimidated?

Sindu says “it was really hard at first after I had my first child, but it was doable!” Crossfit is infinitely scalable! Scale and do what you can, we all had a day 1! The NDCF coaches are here to help you stay injury free.

🤷‍♂️👉 Most people avoid discomfort, then wonder why they stay stuck.

A little sacrifice now can erase a decade of stress later.

That means early mornings, late nights, boring routines, and saying no to distractions.

It means learning skills instead of chasing comfort.

It means investing when others are spending.

You are not suffering, you are building leverage.

The grind is temporary.

The freedom is the reward.
