Today, I'm taking a moment to reflect on this journey of becoming a black-owned private counseling practice in Dallas-Ft. Worth, and how incredibly thankful I am to spend my days nurturing and empowering clients to become a better version of themselves in session. It took courage to pursue my dreams and make them a reality in a field where there were few black women.
I did it anyway, and maybe, just maybe, I am inspiring other people in this beautiful world to pursue their dreams too.

When I'm not in the office seeing clients, you'll find me being an aunt. Balancing between being a counselor and an aunt is no easy task, but it's what makes this journey even more fun. Somehow, although it always feels like a balancing act, they someone complement each other in the most beautiful way, and I truly believe that it's made me a better counselor because I'm also an amazing aunt.⚖💖
It's taught me to be understanding,flexible, and most importantly it's made my love for counseling that much stronger because I know the importance of showing up in the moment for clients in sessions.😊
