The medical industry is becoming a sad industry. I came in for what I'm thinking is my annual (this is what my primary care referred me to this office for ) try to make an appt for annual and im told i owe 175. ! can't schedule until paid. Call insurance, which i asked aren't annual exams covered @ 100% . Rep says yes but this wasn't coded as such . Call office back no wasn't a annual i had heavy bleeding (which i dont know why i would go to an appt if I was on my cycle , but whatever) so know its 2 weeks until end of yr and I have no annual exam. it frustrating to think your going into the office for one thing and something different occurs i do understand doctors don't really pay attention to coding for they have a bigger job treating patients (which I work in the medical field so I'm aware of how things work ) I would prefer to know if there is something other than what I think im scheduled for happening ! What I've learned from this experience is know I have to be a coder and ask specific questions. and also on the hunt for a new physician ! #extremelyannoyed
Look at the baby Dr. Dinh delivered almost 1 year later.
First Day of 4th Grade at St Paul the Apostle was on her 9th birthday 8/15/17. Can't believe that it's been 9yrs since she was delivered by Dr Dinh. #firstborn #partyoffive #bestOBGYN

Our office is allowing one adult guest over the age of 16 years with our pregnant patients. If you arrive with your child/children you will not be allowed in the office waiting area. We cannot make exceptions. Only newborn babies with natural immunity may attend postpartum exams. We are taking steps to alleviate many fears during these pandemic/post-pandemic times. This policy is in place due to childhood diseases and children who may not be vaccinated.

Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Drs. Clark, Culpepper, Dinh, and Mooken all got their first of two covid vaccine shots last week.

We all feel great and had no serious adverse side effects. We got vaccinated to protect ourselves, our families, and our patients. There is NO coronavirus in the vaccine, and it is NOT a live virus vaccine.

As I write these words, there are NO EMPTY ICU BEDS IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. Remember, an ICU room is NOT just a room with four walls. Every ICU room needs to be covered by a HEALTHY doctor, nurse, respiratory therapist, patient care tech, and phlebotomist. Please do your part during this ongoing pandemic by following CDC guidelines and please do consider getting vaccinated when it is available to you. - Dr. Mooken

If you have any concerns regarding the vaccine, please feel free to contact your doctor to discuss your concerns further.

Happy 2021 Benefit Year!

As a patient with our practice, it is very important that we obtain your 2021 insurance card and patient demographic changes prior to your first visit in the new year. We do not want you to experience a delay at check-in.

Our staff will attempt to verify your coverage prior to your appointment. Please visit our website for a list of current insurance plans with which we have a contract. If your plan has an exclusive agreement with any hospital other than Medical City Hospital we are considered out of network and your benefit may be reduced or denied. It is very important that you study your benefit guide.

The only plan we participate with on healthcare.gov is Blue Cross. We do not participate with My Blue Health Plan.

If you do not have your 2021 insurance information it may be in your best financial interest to re-schedule any diagnostic procedures until we can obtain this information and submit your claims for sonograms, laboratory, or any other procedure by the doctor without penalty. If you have a "high deductible" insurance plan you will be asked for the contracted rate of payment at the check-in window for your visit and/or procedure. We will attempt to text/email you the amount prior to your arrival.

You must be current on your well woman annual exams to receive a refill on your annual medications. We will approve a one time 30 day supply only, but you must be seen within the next 30 days.

If you are pregnant or scheduled to have surgery in 2021 please do one of the following:

-Call our office with your new insurance company name; PO Box, the insurance company's telephone number, your policy number and your employers group number.
-Remember to include your name, date of birth and call back number, scan your new insurance card (front & back) and forward the information to [email protected]
-Login to our patient portal via the website www.dallasobgynpa.com and update your patient registration information before your first visit in 2021.
-Present your state of Texas ID and insurance card at check in. It will be scanned to our computer data base. All patient files must match the name on your picture ID not your insurance card.

It is our hope that we make your first visit in 2021 as smooth as possible. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment. Please be patient with our staff as we must collect updates on every patient and their insurance for 2021 and we know that it will take a few extra minutes for everyone.

Thank you again in advance for your patience.

Drs. Clark, Culpepper, Dinh, & Mooken

Our number one priority at Dallas OBGYN PA is the health and safety of our patients. We are here for you and open our normal business hours and still seeing patients. In addition, we are offering telemedicine/virtual visits over the telephone with your doctor. In order to help keep you safe, all patients are being screened upon arrival to the hospital with a temperature check and given a bracelet for entrance. We are following CDC’s infection prevention guidelines and encourage you to also in your daily lives.

Only patients are allowed in our office for medical appointments, absolutely no visitors unless you are having a sonogram or a medical procedure that requires a driver home. Why have we mandated this rule? We simply do not have the space to maintain 6 feet of space within the office. We hope you understand

As always, we are here for you. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call us at 972-566-7009.

Dear Patients and Potential Patients:

As we've been monitoring this rapidly changing nature of COVID-19, we want you to know that we are doing our best to navigate. Together, as a community we are facing trying times and the current pandemic is affecting all of us. We wanted to reach out with an update on how we are handling our business to our best to support the health and safety of both you and our team.

In an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 or any other virus, we must restrict the number of people coming to our office. Guests, including children, are not allowed in the waiting room or exam room with our patients. An adult guest may be necessary if a procedure is being performed. One guest only will be allowed for obstetric sonograms.

Please continue to Social Distance and respect the request to allow 6 feet of space, in our waiting room, in the check-in and check-out lines and everywhere possible. Wearing a mask is the standard while on the Medical City Dallas Campus and in our office. Please continue to keep your mouth and nose covered.

During the month of May, we will be closed at noon on Fridays. We have not closed our office but have modified our business hours.. We continue to schedule appointments for you as needed. Do not hesitate to call our office during regular business hours to schedule any obstetric or gynecologic appointment.

In this world of uncertainty, we appreciate your understanding. We hope at the very least that times like these remind us that we are all in this together. We as a team appreciate your small business support now and always.

We hope to see your happy faces soon!
