Let's get to know Dr. Brewer! Dr. Sarah Brewer is extremely passionate about caring for women. She considers it a privilege to get to know each patient. She loves helping women navigate the different stages of life. She desires to help patients feel understood, valued, and informed. Her professional interests include routine and high-risk obstetrics, adolescent medicine, minimally invasive gynecologic procedures (including laparoscopic and robotic surgery) and preventative medicine.
Dr. Brewer, considers herself a lifelong Texan. She is originally from Boerne, Texas. She attended the University of Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Nutritional Sciences. Prior to medical school she worked at a non-profit organization focused on increasing STEM education for young girls. It was this time that led her to a lifelong career in women’s health. She received her medical doctorate from Texas A&M Health Science Center. Dr. Brewer subsequently completed her medical residency at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital here in Dallas, where she received the esteemed Peggy Whalley Award recognizing resident excellence. Dr. Brewer is a member of the Southwestern Gynecologic Assembly, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Brewer enjoys spending time with her husband Jordan and adorable son Ben. She also volunteers locally with her church and travels internationally for medical work. Her other interests include interior design, spin classes and walking her two dogs (Theo and Murphy) at White Rock Lake.
