Small businesses like YAM don’t grow because of big ad budgets — we grow because people talk about us. 💛

When you leave a Google review, you’re doing a few powerful things:
• Helping new people find us when they search for yoga near them
• Telling Google that YAM is a real, loved, community-based studio
• Sharing what makes this space feel welcoming, supportive, and different

Reviews in Mindbody matter too. That’s where most people discover classes, sign up, and decide what to try next. Your feedback there helps others choose the right class and teacher — and helps us keep improving what we offer.

If YAM has helped you feel stronger, calmer, more connected, or more at home in your body, a few kind words go a long way. They truly make a difference for small, local studios like ours.

Thank you for supporting this community.

Feel. Move. Breathe. Belong. 💫

In 2026 we want to help showcase our friends, neighbors and members who are working so hard to create an amazing community of small businesses.

Junebugs is right now the hill from YAM! And even better it’s owned by member Abbie Lynch.

Stop in and check it out next time you’re early to class!

JuneBugs Children’s Boutique owner Abbie Lynch says, “As a mom, I really encourage people to come in and allow this to be a safe space. Allow it to be a place where they can shop freely without judgment, like if their child is crying or they’re fussy, and I’m engaging with them, I’m playing with them, and not because it’s for business.”

In addition to gift-y items, Lynch also wants JuneBugs to be a place where moms can go in a pinch for things like bibs and belly oil. “What I wanted was a store that wasn’t just a gift boutique,” Lynch says. “I wanted it where, if a mama was at home, and she’s like, ‘Oh my goodness, I ran out of something, or I need a bottle real quick.’ She can run down and grab it.”

JuneBugs is named after her 4-year-old daughter, June. While June isn’t quite able to play a more active role just yet, both of her older sisters stop by to lend a helping hand. Abbie’s mom works part time behind the counter while her husband works as the delivery driver. Behind the counter sits a picture of Joanie Williams, Lynch’s grandmother.

About Us

Trey & Jen Johnson started YAM to create a community-based vibe around their mutual love for yoga, art & music.

Jen opened one of the first yoga studios in Dallas in 2001, American Power Yoga (formerly called Whole Life), and has been a local business person ever since. Trey has performed in and around Dallas from the age of 15 years old, most notably fronting the band Sorta. He currently operates State Fair Records.
