We love this! Calling all kiddos!

We’re engaging the kids this year! Know an artsy kiddo who would like to sell their works of art? Contact us and let’s set them up for table on the tour. 🎨 🌱 🖼️

That Build & Burn kind of tired… where your muscles are like “heck yeah, we did THAT 💪”

But the rest of you is like “cool story bro… I’m gonna need to lie down immediately” 😴

Like… you totally earned this fatigue.
You worked for it. And now you will be horizontal if anyone needs you.

Post-workout level: fell asleep mid-PBJ 🥪💀

BUILD AND BURN @ YAM! 💪🏋🏾‍♂️🏆
Mondays at Noon, Wednesdays at 7:30 PM and Thursdays at 8 AM.

This girl has a special place in our hearts. We’d love to keep her in the YAMily.

Here’s something cool: YAM isn’t a chain, a franchise, or a yoga factory.

We’re your neighbors. We live here, work here, and walk our dogs down the same streets you do.

Chances are, when you roll out your mat, you’ll be right next to someone who shops at the same grocery store as you.

That’s what makes YAM special — it’s more than classes, it’s a community hub. You’ll find:
🧘 Classes taught by teachers who really see you.
🎶 Sound baths, workshops, and events that refresh your soul.
🎨 Local art that keeps our walls (and spirits) alive.

So come be part of it. Bring your quirks, your questions, your creaky shoulders — we’ve got room for it all.

I would wager that anyone familiar with Texas dance would say that it was only a matter of time before Jennifer Mabus initiated her own creative platform.

Why Katonah Yoga?

Because sometimes “just flow” isn’t what your body needs.

Katonah Yoga is a little more… 🤔 intentional.
A little more structured. 🧱
A little more thoughtful. 🧠

It blends traditional yoga with geometry, alignment, and the idea that your body works better when things are organized and set up well.

Think:
• using props to fit the pose to your body
• finding stability so flexibility can actually happen
• creating space in the joints instead of compressing into them
• working with your body, not against it

And the wildest part? When your body feels more supported, it often opens more naturally—without force.

Join Christy Mondays at 9:30 AM
Come curious. We’ll take care of the rest.

Friday nights, reimagined 🕯️

This is Candlelight Gentle Stretch with Maria— rooted in the heart of Traditional Hatha Yoga.

Not fast.
Not flow.
Not performative.
Not trendy.

Just you…
your breath…
and the practice.

Inside this softly lit space, we:
✨ hold poses with intention
✨ build quiet strength and awareness
✨ prepare the body for meditation—not rush past it

Come as you are. Leave a little lighter. 🕯️

About Us

Trey & Jen Johnson started YAM to create a community-based vibe around their mutual love for yoga, art & music.

Jen opened one of the first yoga studios in Dallas in 2001, American Power Yoga (formerly called Whole Life), and has been a local business person ever since. Trey has performed in and around Dallas from the age of 15 years old, most notably fronting the band Sorta. He currently operates State Fair Records.
