Urgent Action Needed in Texas: Help Oppose Senate Bill 3!

The language in Texas’ SB 3 would decimate the h**p industry in Texas. The legislature recently made some improvements to the bill that were a move in the right direction, but many concerns remain about the bill’s language and its political viability.

SB 3 will be heard on the House floor on Tuesday, May 20th. As currently written, this bill limits consumer choice and arbitrarily makes regulatory changes to h**p products that would decimate the entire h**p industry. Banning h**p products is not a prudent public policy solution. Prohibition has never worked. It would wipe out an entire industry, eliminate jobs, and push consumers toward unregulated markets where there are no ID checks, no testing, and no oversight.
