Excited to announce our eagerly anticipated flagship event of the year is almost here!
We are very excited to share some good news and announce that Dr. Shivani Desai has been appointed as the Director of Primary Care Education for the internal medicine residency program! In this new educational leadership position, Dr. Desai will be overseeing the primary care training efforts of the residency program and focus on creating an equivalently robust experience at the three continuity clinic sites: Parkland, UTSW, and the Dallas VA Medical Center.
Additionally, she will continue efforts to further the development of the POB clinic site into a primary care track in conjunction with the residency program and continue curriculum development for Ambulatory Didactics.
