Happy Spring! https://youtu.be/8aHfdHiRJdc
It’s the Spring Equinox! The moment when we switch to more Light in our daily rhythms!
May this new cycle bring more kindness and joy in our life!
There are a lot of rhythms around us and in us: from breathing and heart pumping to brain activity, sleep cycles, or hormone secretions, from ion channels opening to joint vibrations in their capsules. There is an entire orchestra in there. However, if the instruments are not in tune, the result may be a bad concert. So it’s time for an adjustment to bring everything in tune, in resonance with our desire of a better health
One of the techniques I use, Resonant Vibration Therapy can do just that and recently I added to it tuning forks and sound vibrations. So, I am waiting for you to be a good conductor of your orchestra and be responsible for a season of better and better concerts.

Waves of CSF Flow Into the Brain During Sleep

This is Huuge! Brain cerebrospinal fluid CSF helps brain getting in rhythm and getting rid of toxic proteins that accumulate in dementia. They have study it in deep sleep, and they said they had no idea there were waves in CSF, and they synchronize with brain waves! Osteopaths and chiropractors new that for decades and we know that CSF in and around the brain AND the spine needs to flow freely for a healthy organism. No kinks or congestion! A procedure just for that, from Sacro-Occipital Technique is part of what I also use during my treatments. Sleep effect is just a bonus.
So Sleep well and get your chiropractic treatment regularly!
P.S. Double bonus: as I mentioned in my Stem Cell seminar, this approach also helps with the neural Stem Cells!

Mapping magnetite in the human brain

Energy medicine has another piece of scientific support. The map of brain magnetization shows that the forehead and the occiput are the most susceptible areas (to magnetism). So placing our hands on those zones: for helping with concentration and emotions – forehead, and for body’s automated functions (breathing, circulation, digestion, etc) – back of the head, seems a good thing for a DIY. Or, even better, have a health practitioner who knows what to do, work on it. Remember though that all this information is transmitted to the body through the spine and spinal nerves, so have your chiropractic or osteopathic treatments regularly. Otherwise it’s like driving with a better tire on a misaligned wheel. Damage will happen - but there is no replacement for your organs. Yet.

physicstoday.scitation.org The magnetic nanoparticles are concentrated primarily in the cerebellum and brain stem, among the oldest parts of the organ.

Waste in the US Health Care System

US spends more on health care than any other country but there is a 25%-30% WASTE that adds up to $935 BILLION annually!
Guess who’s on top: administrative complexity: $265 billion followed by price gouging $240 billion (nicely named “pricing failure”).
Next on the list are: failure of care: $165 billion, overtreatment or low-value care: $101 billion, fraud and abuse: $83 billion.
Comparatively, total budget for research in ALL complementary therapies (acupuncture, chiropractic, herbs & supplements, meditation, etc) is …(suspense)… $0.447 billions (to stay with the same units).

Vitamin D and your health: Breaking old rules, raising new hopes - Harvard Health

Shorter days mean more Vit D3. Even Harvard Medical School now says 1000 UI is OK and 2000 UI it's not too high. Plus, down at the bottom of the list, it also says that it helps in the prevention or surviving cancer.
Don’t forget that absorption is better with meals and that the nerves that helps in the process come both from the spine and from the head so ask your chiropractor to check them both.

health.harvard.edu Vitamin D's primary function is to help the body absorb calcium, though it may also protect against prostate cancer and other diseases. Many people do not get enough from sunlight, its natural source, and should get the needed amount via a supple...

Happy Fall – although in TX is more like a late Summer...
When did you see your (gentle) chiropractor last time? If it was longer than when you changed your oil, or rotated or aligned your tires than you are going through life like a car with dirty engine, misaligned wheels, and unbalanced tires. When you get to see the consequences, the damage is already there.
Take care of your health naturally. Even TX Governor agrees to that (and of course it saves money – prevention is always cheaper than treatment).http://www.tbce.state.tx.us/Documents/Chiropractic-Health-Month.pdf

Sympathetic Reinnervation is Required for Mammalian Cardiac Regeneration

Chiropractic and Stem cells connection!
When did you see your gentle chiropractor last time? If it’s more than a couple of weeks than you should schedule a visit. Here is another reason why: Healing implies repairing damaged tissue. New wonder-kid is stem cell / regenerative therapy. However, more and more studies actually show that the nerves innervating the tissue are needed for the stem cells too, to do their job. So, a gentle chiropractic treatment or something like resonant vibration therapy I use helps in stimulating those nerves. Everybody needs it and now it’s another reason to do it – not just aches and back stiffness! https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4705031/

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov Although mammalian cardiac regeneration can occur in the neonatal period, the factors involved in this process remain to be established. As tissue and limb regeneration require concurrent reinnervation by the peripheral nervous system, we hypothesized ...

Gait Speed and Survival in Older Adults

As you know I think Chiropractic care should be on everyone’s list. Every Month! One thing it helps with is the ability to move easier and smoother. And faster. Now there is proof that the fastest one can move, the longer she (and he) lives. This is Biig for seniors:- on average, a gait speed of 1.4 m/s (3.1 mph or 5 km/h) at age 70, will add plenty of years to one’s life: 20 years for men and 27 for women. On the other end, if one can only walk at 1 km/hr (0.52 mph) the average survival is just 7 years for men and 11 for women. Be smart and be fast! (And check the figures for details) https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/644554

jamanetwork.com Context Survival estimates help individualize goals of care for geriatric patients, but life tables fail to account for the great variability in survival. Physical performance measures, such as gait speed, might help account for variability, allowing clinicians to make more individualized...

Repeated Head Hits, Not Just Concussions, May Lead To A Type Of Chronic Brain Damage

Have you seen your holistic chiropractor this week???
Here is another reason why you should! For a long time chiropractic (the way I do it) detects and treats problems in the nervous system (brain and spinal cord) that are not painful. Now science confirmed that just hitting your head, without concussions, and doing nothing because nothing hurts, leads to chronic encephalitis. The silent injury they call it. Well, we know how to find it.

npr.org Scientists believe they have solid evidence that repeated direct hits to the head can cause the degenerative brain disease seen in some athletes, even if there are no signs of concussion.

Patient Trends in Hospital Inpatient Stays in the United States, 2005-2014 #225

There is something wrong with the way infections (sepsis), arthritis, and mood disorders are treated in US - in 10 years their hospital stays increased by 192%, 49%, and 23% respectively.
As a side note, everything else (except for complications from implants/grafts) have a lower hospital stays (which I hope it means better care) although at a higher price per stay (in another words more expensive modern medicine)

New blood pressure range means half of Americans have hypertension

New magic number for systolic blood pressure is 130. The study tried to push it to 120 and there was a higher rate of kidney injury, kidney failure, and decreased brain blood flow (which leads to Alzheimer). I think there should be a focus on causes not on medication. And on LIFETIME changes: exercise, nutrition, chiropractic/osteopathy, stress management, meditation, healthy sexual activity (good news here - I will get back about it soon), etc.

reuters.com Tighter blood pressure guidelines from U.S. heart organizations mean millions more people need to make lifestyle changes, or start taking medication, in order to avoid cardiovascular problems.

Lower cardiac index levels relate to lower cerebral blood flow in older adults
