It is common at Caring with Grace that our care managers play the role of "boots on the ground" and facilitate communication for many families who are not geographically close together. Building a support network of caring individuals is key.

Building a team, communicating well, and getting access to medical, legal and financial information are key to long-distance caregiving.

Support for Empowered Caregiving: Leveraging Brain Health for a Better Journey, a series of two-hour workshops for caregivers of patients with Alzheimer’s.

Workshops are designed to help caregivers cope with the stress and demands of caring for patients and provide a personalized plan to improve their cognitive well-being and help participants approach caregiving with confidence and clarity.

(LBD) is not rare; it impacts over a million people in the United States alone.

This , we join Lewy Body International in raising awareness of LBD, a multifaceted disease with complex symptoms including cognitive, neuropsychiatric, sleep, autonomic features and motor symptoms, which impacts not only the person , but their care partners, friends and family members.
