Caregivers, this is your reminder: you matter too.
AARP reports that nearly 4 in 10 caregivers say they never or rarely relax. Caregiver burnout doesn’t always announce itself loudly. Sometimes it looks like skipping meals, losing sleep, canceling your own appointments, or saying “I’m fine” when you’re not.

So here’s my challenge for you this week: do one thing just for you. Take a walk. Sit in silence. Call a friend. Make the appointment. Rest without guilt.

Caring for yourself is not selfish; it’s part of how you keep caring. 💛

What’s one thing you’ll do for yourself this week?

Heart to Heart Hospice of Carrolton for the win!
One of our partners, Heart-to-Heart Hospice, came by today to spend time with our residents. They were reading The Giving Tree together, and watching our ladies light up was everything. One of our retired teachers recognized the story and lit up. It wasn't about the book. It was about remembering who they were, remembering climbing trees as kids, and listening to stories. Our residents aren't just people who need care. They're people with full lives behind them, stories to tell, and so much to still share. ⭐

Don’t wait for a crisis to start looking for care options.

04/11/2026

Most families don’t start looking at care options until something happens.
A fall.A hospital visit.A moment where everything feels out of control.
But by then… you’re making decisions in crisis mode.
And that’s when everything becomes harder—for you and for your loved one.
The truth is, the best time to start exploring memory careis before you’re forced to.
When you plan early, you have options. You can choose—not just react.
If you’re starting to wonder if it’s time… pay attention to that feeling.
You don’t have to wait for something bad to happen.
💬 If this has been on your mind, you’re not alone.📌 Save this so you don’t wait until it’s too late.

Just a quick house tour of what memory care should look like.🥰🥰🥰

Most families think moving a loved one into memory care means they’re losing someone or they are failing. What we see is something different. When care is provided in the right environment… families get something back. 🎁They get to slow down. 🎁They get to be present. 🎁They get to enjoy their time together again. That shift means more than people expect. If are struggling caring for someone with dementia, you are not alone and you’re not failing. You’re finding a different way to show up for them. SHARE this with someone who might need to hear it.
