During Monday's business session, messengers from the Texas Baptists Annual Meeting elected a new slate of officers.

Debbie Potter, children's pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in San Antonio, was elected to be president. Joseph Adams, pastor of First Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant, was elected to serve as first vice president. Ariel Martinez, pastor of Del Sol Church in El Paso, was elected to serve as second vice president.
