"Everyone who is in need for some neighborliness, or some kindness and compassion. They are my neighbors."

Love your neighbor by masking up | Scrubbing In I briefly walked into the hospital without a mask on the other day. Following the FDA and CDC’s reinstatement of the J&J vaccine, our vaccination sites will again offer this option as supply allows. This short pause in distribution was out of extreme caution to give experts time to review data on the small group of people who reported a rare, severe type of blood clot. Please know, this rare side effect has occurred in only 15 reported cases out of more than 8 million doses administered.

While the FDA and CDC reaffirmed the vaccine’s safety, women under 50 should know that there are other vaccine options available. Learn more here: https://bit.ly/3aN4vsU

Move over, Easter Bunny! We delivered the sweetest, most adorable little gifts this Easter. 🐣

04/04/2021

This year, we experience holidays like Easter and Passover with a renewed hope for what lies ahead. We have hope for our patients, colleagues and loved ones as they roll up their sleeves to get a COVID-19 vaccine. We have hope for our friends and family as we look ahead to an eventual return to “normalcy.” And we have hope for our communities as we work together to address persistent inequities.

May these next few days provide you with a chance for reflection about the promise of renewal and hope for what is yet to come.

On March 31, we will begin welcoming additional visitors for patients receiving care for conditions other than COVID-19. The number of visitors may vary depending on the facility or unit as our teams maintain COVID-19 safety precautions. In line with CDC guidance, we ask that only those essential for each patient’s physical or emotional well-being and care visit at this time.

Upon entry, visitors will be asked to wear a mask and pass a screening and temperature check. For the safety of all, we are continuing to limit visitors for patients who are confirmed or suspected to have COVID-19.

We know loved ones are an important part of the healing process and look forward to safely welcoming additional visitors. If you have questions or concerns, please call the hospital or your doctor’s office directly. For more details: https://bit.ly/3sEZk5b
