I am standing at a fork in the road.
I cannot wait until I get old.
This big decision must be made now,
For, time has passed so quickly somehow.
Fear and excitement fill my body & mind.
How could have been so freakin' blind,
As I begin this journey one moment at a time
I feel a sense of freedom as I make this climb.
I wonder what took me so long,
It’s probably just that negative song.
But now I’m flying, and I feel so free,
That I made my decision about who I want to be.

It's just another manic Monday. Learn how to turn anxiety into positive energy!
😟Part of anxiety is resisting anxious feelings. This just keeps the cycle going.
Thoughts come and go (usually automatically) and we should not necessarily identify with them. Just because we think something doesn't mean it's true.
For example, I might think "I'm stupid" but that doesn't mean it's true. I might do stupid things from time to time, but there is plenty of evidence I could find to support the notion of me not being stupid.
In fact, you choose to accept what's true and what's not and then, act upon that belief.
However, more often than not we undermine ourselves...
Our student and graduate hypnotherapists teach their clients to how to become aware of thoughts, especially the negative, self-sabotaging ones! How to distance oneself from them, observe them from a dissociated position and recognise them for what they are, and ultimately to restructure them so that our automatic thoughts become healthier.
