We’re in the OR today! Dr. H and surgical assistant, Antonio are serving our little patients and helping them get rid of those sugar bugs!

Jasmin is demonstrating how to brush a toddlers teeth by performing a lap exam, as done in the clinic.

Brushing a toddlers teeth can be, well... exhausting at times. They really are stronger than they seem.

By performing a lap exam it helps control movement and gives you the best angles to brush properly. Grab a partner to sit across from you, if needed and touch knee to knee.

Your child may cry at first. But consistency is key. Create a routine that works best for your schedule and stick to it as best as you can. Baby will become familiar and teeth brushing will eventually be tear free!

Working from home with kids can be difficult to say the least.

Our Executive Director of Operations, Petra is here to give some tips and share a schedule that helps her.

1. Set up a dedicated space for working. When selecting my area I made sure it was a quiet area where I could close myself off from the rest of the house.

2. I review my work schedule with the family to help with avoid interruptions.

3. Create a To Do list for the kids during my office times. Games, school work and outside time.

4. Picnics and games during lunch break to spend some time with the little ones.

5. Schedule active time in my schedule to stretch our legs and refocus.
