Yesterday, we had the sweetest little visitor—a baby lamb stopped by and with it came so much joy!

Our hearts are full, our spirits lifted, and it truly feels like spring has arrived in the most perfect way 💛🐑

Sunshine, fresh spring air, and baskets full of color — our annual Easter egg hunt was nothing short of magical this year ☀️🌸

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect! Blue skies overhead, a gentle breeze, and just the right warmth to make the day feel like a true celebration of spring.

We would like to recognize the Winterstown-Felton 4H group for volunteering and helping set up for our event this year. As well as the residents who helped stuff over 600 eggs!

Already counting down to next year’s egg hunt 🐣💛

This week we are celebrating National Hydration & Nutrition Week by helping everyone learn how the foods and drinks we choose affect our bodies.

During our Good vs. Bad Food Program we compared everyday choices and learned simple ways to fuel our bodies the right way!

There’s something truly special about working alongside our therapy department to support residents with mobility challenges. Every session is more than just exercise, it’s about building confidence, restoring independence, and celebrating progress in all its forms.

🍀🌈 St. Patrick’s Day Social 🌈🍀

We had a magical time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day together! From learning a bit of history to getting creative (and enjoying some delicious treats), it was a day full of fun, color, and community 💚

✨ We kicked things off by exploring the history of St. Patrick’s Day learning about Irish traditions, the story of St. Patrick, and how this holiday became a global celebration of culture and heritage.

🌈 Next, we got hands-on with a rainbow craft! Everyone had a chance to create their own colorful masterpiece, using bright shades to celebrate luck, joy, and a little bit of leprechaun magic 🍀

🍓 And of course… the highlight for many—RAINBOW PARFAITS! Layered with vibrant fruits and creamy goodness, they were as tasty as they were beautiful. A perfect treat to match the festive spirit!

🧠💜 The Power of Us. The Power of Now.

Lillian Reda, Genesis' National Director of Memory Support Clinical Practice and Education, recently attended the Alzheimer's Association Community Leaders Summit in Anaheim, CA.

This inspiring gathering brings together community leaders from across the country to share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and advance a collective vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other forms of dementia. The summit energizes participants to expand outreach, support, and impact in communities nationwide.

Reflecting on the experience, Lillian shared, “It was truly an impactful learning and networking experience. The ‘purple’ passion among attendees, the powerful personal stories shared, and the insights into the current momentum in care and treatment advancements were not only inspiring but absolutely energizing.”

Genesis is also proud to mark 17 years of participation as a National Team supporting Walk to End Alzheimer’s and Do What You Love to End ALZ, along with our continued efforts to expand access to education, support programs, advocacy, and research.
