Strong, healthy hooves start with the right balance, —especially when conditions are wet, humid, or constantly changing during travel and competition season.
Cavalor Dry Feet features a new 100% natural formula powered by pre- and probiotics to actively support the hoof’s natural defenses. By promoting beneficial microflora, it helps protect the sole and frog while creating an environment where harmful bacteria struggle to thrive.
With the addition of inulin, this formula not only introduces good bacteria but also nourishes both the probiotics in the product and the existing beneficial microorganisms already present on the hoof. The result? A stronger, healthier hoof surface that’s better equipped to resist common issues like thrush.
Trusted by veterinarians, farriers, grooms, and riders worldwide, it’s a simple yet effective way to care for one of the most important parts of your horse.
Because no hoof, no horse.

Healthy horses start with better knowledge.

As metabolic disease becomes an increasing concern across the horse industry, researchers are working to better understand how these conditions affect horses and how owners manage them.

In collaboration with Texas A&M University, we’re reaching out to ask for your support in promoting participation in a national survey on Equine Endocrine Disease: Diagnosis, Management, and Owner Knowledge.

Your experience matters. Whether your horse has struggled with metabolic issues or not, your input helps researchers better understand the bigger picture.

At the end of the survey, you can enter to win one month of free Cavalor feed and supplements and a personalized nutrition consultation with Dr. Caroline Loos.

Help us strengthen the science behind equine metabolic health.

For the horses we love.
For the knowledge they deserve.

First the foundation. Then the function.
Every horse needs a solid base: energy, protein, vitamins & minerals, water and fiber. Without it, the body can’t function optimally.
Functional ingredients support performance and recovery — but they never replace the basics.

No strong roof without solid foundations.

Did you know that calm doesn’t start in the mind, but in the gut?
A healthy digestive system helps your horse stay relaxed and comfortable. In winter, horses move less, yet still need energy to stay warm. That’s why sufficient roughage is essential: at least 1.5% of bodyweight (± 9 kg of hay for a 600 kg horse).

Fiber keeps the gut active, supports saliva production and helps avoid spikes in energy or “spooky” behaviour.
💡 Tip: in winter, choose high-fiber feed that releases energy gradually — ideal for horses that get hot easily, as well as older horses or horses on rest.

Cavalor feeding options: FiberForce (fiber & low sugar/starch), Strucomix Senior (easily digestible), Strucomash Beet (extra fiber), and for sensitive horses in training: Pianissimo.

🍂 As the days get shorter and the nights get colder, a lot changes — also for our horses. Less turnout, lower temperatures and more time in the stable lead to built-up energy… and you can feel it.

Many horses become a bit more “spooky” in winter: more alert, more reactive, while typical winter issues like mud fever or thrush also appear more often 👻

Our tip: be prepared. Adjust feed and care to the season, provide plenty of fibre and movement, and add extra support where needed. A calm winter starts with a solid plan. ❄️
