Dear Patients,
As of 30 days from the date of this letter, I will be retired. There are many reasons for this, but my health is primary. Many of you have become friends over the years, and I will miss our interactions.
For those of you who are up to date on your preventative screenings, I have provided liberal refills for you before you locate a new gynecologist. For those of you who are not, you have had multiple reminders. Your prescriptions will be running out, especially if your mammogram is overdue.
Copies of your records will be transferred upon your written request to a new practitioner. I advise you to ask your primary care doctor regarding a referral to a new gynecologist.
For those of you on hormone therapy, I suggest investigating the new menopause service offered by Sutter Health. Dr. Leah Millheiser (925-875-6546) is leading this. Soon, there will be more gynecologists with increased interest and training in menopause. Instructions for accessing this service are
below.

Instructions for Scheduling with Sutter Health Menopause Specialist:
• Login to or register for Sutter My Health Online (MHO) at www.sutterhealth.org.
• Search MHO for menopause specialists in your area. Dr. Leah Millheiser is leading this, but there are many doctors being trained in menopause care
• Schedule an appointment online.
• You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire and watch two videos prior to your appointment.
• If you are having trouble scheduling, you can call (925)-875-6546. If they do not pick up, leave a message, and they will return your call as soon as possible.

San Francisco Bay Area — Today, health officers from the 13 Bay Area health jurisdictions advised the public to get updated vaccines now to protect against flu and COVID this season. The fall 2025 updated flu vaccine and fall 2025 updated COVID vaccine are now available in pharmacies and doctors.....
