What’s the recommended room temperature for Bikram Yoga? 🔥 The practice is done in a heated room at a minimum of 105°F with about 40% humidity. While many think the heat is only there to make you sweat, it actually serves a much bigger purpose.

The controlled temperature helps protect your muscles so you can safely stretch deeper, while also opening your pores to support natural detox. The heat thins the blood and increases circulation, giving your heart and cardiovascular system a powerful workout. It also boosts strength by putting your muscle tissue in an optimal state for reorganization and even helps reorganize the fat in the muscular structure.

Instructor Spotlight ✨

Meet Carol! Her Bikram Yoga journey began after reading about it in a magazine, after months of seeing “Get a great butt!” ads, curiosity finally brought her into the hot room… and she was instantly hooked. 🔥

In 2006, Carol graduated from Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Los Angeles. By 2007, she became co-owner of Mission Yoga in San Francisco, and in 2016 she expanded her practice by certifying as an Inferno Hot Pilates Instructor.

Her best advice for every student? Always give your best effort, and remember, you are enough.
