Great news! NEMS is honored to receive the 2025 Community Health Quality Recognition badges — including several new awards — from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for our clinical care quality and patient service delivery in 2024!

This year, we were recognized with the following badges:

As a community health center, NEMS is proud to offer co-located medical and dental services, promoting patient access, convenience, and affordability. NEMS currently provides dental services at eight clinics: 1520 Stockton Clinic in San Francisco’s Chinatown; 1033 Clement Clinic in San Francisco’s Richmond neighborhood; 2574 San Bruno Clinic in San Francisco’s Portola neighborhood; 1798 19th Avenue Clinic and 1430 Taraval Clinic in San Francisco’s Sunset District; 211 Eastmoor Clinic and 1850 Sullivan Clinic in Daly City; and 1870 Lundy Clinic in the city of San Jose. A brand new dental clinic will also open in September 2025 at 939 Story Road in San Jose's Vietnam Town.

All of our current dental clinics provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages. We use a variety of innovative dental technologies and methods to increase efficiency, safety and comfort for our patients, including intraoral scanners, 3D printing, and even acupressure blankets to keep patients calm. The more innovative options we can provide, as NEMS Dental Director Dr. Nathan Yang explains, "the better we can help everyone in our community really feel that oral care should be routine."
