Can you believe it’s been 2️⃣0️⃣ years since 5-2-1-0 Let’s Go! started?

⬅️Back in 2006, we started with just 2️⃣8️⃣programs: 9 schools and 19 pediatric practices in Maine.

➡️Today, thanks to the dedication of our incredible Let's Go! team, educators, caregivers and partners, we’ve grown to 727 programs state-wide, all actively working to share Let's Go!'s evidence-based programming helping kids and adults build healthy habits for life. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Here’s to the next 20 years of building healthy habits!

There’s still quite a bit of mud around the building (because it's March in Maine!) but MaineHealth Primary Care Waldoboro is now open at 126 Depot Street in Waldoboro. Our beautiful new building is now fully functional, and we’re excited to welcome our patients into our new home!

If you are visiting MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital’s Miles Campus tomorrow (March 18), please be aware there will be traffic flow changes in front of the Watson Center and the patient parking area (highlighted in red) beginning around 11 a.m.

Staff will be there to guide patients when they arrive. We urge patients to plan a few extra minutes for travel to ensure an on-time arrival for an appointment.

The Watson Center will close at 5 p.m. to complete a water line repair, and we anticipate traffic will return to its normal pattern when we open Thursday morning.
Thank you for your patience!

MaineHealth is helping open the door to careers in health care.
A new free CNA training program offers paid, hands-on experience while preparing participants for immediate employment in Maine hospitals and care settings. Programs like this help address workforce shortages while creating meaningful career pathways in our communities.

Staff at Maine Health say the six-week program aims to help fill staffing gaps at rural health care facilities throughout Maine with skilled caregivers.

Yesterday, MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital hosted a ribbon cutting and tours of the new MaineHealth Primary Care - Waldoboro office. We welcomed a crowd of care team members, neighbors, patients, board members, donors and many others who were pivotal in the efforts to plan and build the new state-of-the-art facility.

It was a fabulous event, with bright sun and bright smiles! We'd like to thank everyone for all the work that has gone into the new facility. It was many years in the making and was such an incredibly proud moment for everyone who helped along the way.

Providers will begin seeing patients at the 126 Depot Street office on Monday, March 16.

At Let’s Go!, we don’t just deliver programs - we empower people. 💙

For 20 years we have helped families build healthier, more active lives, creating lasting habits. Our impact doesn’t stop with kids and families. We empower parents, caregivers, teachers, and community leaders to model healthy living, creating a confident, inspiring ripple effect across communities.

Hear from a former Let's Go! coordinator, in her own words, about that impact and seeing 5-2-1-0 in action. https://bit.ly/4qJ85Zk
