Meet Josh Lockwood-Wewer! If you’ve ever had the joy of meeting Josh, you quickly realize he’s someone special. Towering at over six feet tall with the gentlest heart imaginable, Josh brings warmth, humor, and pure joy into every room he enters. His mother, Beth Martinko, describes him best: “He has the sweetest soul on the planet. He’s just a giant teddy bear.”

October 6th - 12th is Active Aging Recognition Week.

Active Aging Week is an annual weeklong campaign aimed at celebrating and highlighting the positive aspects of aging. Throughout the week, organizations around the country offer free wellness activities and exercise programs for older adults to participate in, with the goal of showcasing their age-friendly wellness programs and promoting a positive message of aging well.

We had a great time connecting with families new to the Self Determination Program—explaining how it all works and what comes next at the RCOC Vendor Fair. It was also a pleasure meeting families already on services with us and chatting with fellow FMS providers about how we can all work together to better support our community. Grateful for the shared commitment and collaboration! 💙
