The holiday spirit was truly alive in our building this week 🎄
Our staff went all out, dressing up in their best Christmas costumes, and our residents had the honor of voting for their favorite. The laughter, smiles, and friendly competition made it such a special day.

Today at Havencare at Hancock Hall, we had the privilege of hosting our 3rd annual appreciation event for our incredible local EMS and Firefighters.
These heroes show up for our community day and night, and it was an honor to show a small token of our thanks.

We welcomed everyone with a delicious meal from Blang’n Thai food truck, and the beautiful weather made it the perfect day to come by, connect, and express our gratitude.

To all our first responders — thank you for your service, your dedication, and the sacrifices you make to keep our community safe.
We appreciate you more than you know.

This past weekend, Danbury Hospital hosted its annual Mission Health Day, a wonderful event dedicated to supporting families in need through free health education, screenings, and resources.

Havencare was proud to participate by donating beanies and tote bags to help spread warmth and care to our neighbors. ❤️

Our amazing staff are carving up some Halloween magic in our Pumpkin Carving Contest — and our residents are the judges! 🏆

It’s all about bringing a little boo-tiful fun and togetherness to our community — where staff and residents celebrate the holiday spirit side by side. 💀🧡

We’re proud to announce that Havencare at Hancock Hall will be hosting a monthly Parkinson’s Support Group, facilitated by FirstLight Home Care.

📅 Starting Wednesday, October 15th

The group will meet every third Wednesday of the month and is open to those living with Parkinson’s, their families, and caregivers.
