Regional Hospice

Regional Hospice Founded in 1983, Regional Hospice is a nonprofit hospice care provider based in Connecticut. We believe this journey is one best taken together.

Our mission is to approach death by creating human connection and honoring each unique journey through a shared vision for living. Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided patients with care choices in private homes, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities and our Center for Comfort Care & Healing residence during a sacred life transition. Hospice is a philosophy by which those with life limiting illness and their loved ones are nurtured through the end of life experience. Regional Hospice walks beside those in our care through the transition of what was, what is, and what is next, by empowering them with choices to meet their own unique vision for living. Regional Hospice recognizes that grief knows no timeline and provides vital support through the Healing Hearts program which provides bereavement services for anyone in the community without cost.

Regional Hospice recently hosted a relaxing and creative ceramic painting session in partnership with Happy Hands Art and Pottery Studio. Guests gathered at The Center for Comfort Care & Healing for an afternoon of connection and creativity, painting ceramic hearts that will be glazed and returned as lasting keepsakes. The event offered a meaningful opportunity to tap into creativity, enjoy good company, and create something special together💕
