These are so tasty and a healthy alternative to beef or premade toxic chemical laden frozen meatballs.

Craving spaghetti?
Let’s make a healthier version of the traditional meat sauce pasta.
🍃Veggies are your friend.
1 cup grated carrots
1 cup diced zucchini
1/2 large diced yellow or red bell pepper
1 carton baby bell mushrooms
3 gloves of minced garlic
1/2 white onion
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Sauté veggies in olive oil, add spices.
Use your homemade tomato sauce or Rao’s as a lower sugar alternative. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Build your bowl with chickpea, brown rice, lentil or regular pasta of choice. Top with fresh grated Parmesan cheese ( if you enjoy cheese).
Use whatever veggies you prefer. This is a great alternative with a blast of freshness in a bowl. Enjoy!

Soursop tea with a hint of star anise.
This powerhouse has been used in holistic treatment of cancer although claims are not substantiated. Why make this tea? Digestive support, antioxidant rich, immune boosting, anti-inflammatory properties, improved sleep, weight management, antiviral and anti microbial. Be mindful of neurological signs with soursop. There are possible medication interactions Do your research please. Enjoy in moderation.

Did you buy a watermelon that was not as tasty as you had hoped? Throw it in the juicer. The flavor will be inhanced and taste more sweet. Watermelon juice is best consumed early in the day with its hydration benefits. It’s loaded with antioxidants, vitamin C & beta-carotene. Caution in those individuals with IBS and potassium restrictions. Enjoy!🍉
