A heartfelt thank you to the 4th graders from Dandridge Elementary for spending part of your day with the residents of Jefferson Park at Dandridge Green House Homes during our Summer Block Party!

The laughter, smiles, and special moments shared meant so much to our residents. We would also like to thank the Dandridge Police Department for joining the fun and making the water balloon fight a memorable highlight of the day!

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this event such a wonderful start to summer for our residents and staff alike!

We are so proud to recognize two of our incredible team members for receiving the Caring Heart Award!

Congratulations to Chengeto Gava, CNA at Jefferson Park at Dandridge, and Hope Cruz Mendoza, CNA at Jefferson Park at White Pine. Their compassion, dedication, and genuine love for our residents shine through in everything they do each day. They continually go above and beyond to provide comfort, kindness, and exceptional care, making a lasting difference in the lives of those they serve.

Thank you both for the heart you bring to Jefferson Park every single day — we are truly blessed to have you on our team!

💙🏡 HAPPY NATIONAL SKILLED NURSING CARE WEEK 2026 🏡💙

Jefferson Park has had an AMAZING Nursing Home Week this week filled with love, laughter, memories, and so many smiles! 💐✨

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful planting bar where they picked out flowers and pots to plant beautiful arrangements for their rooms. A huge thank you to “More Than Plants” for donating the succulent plants and helping make our residents’ day so special! 🌿🪴

We also celebrated our beautiful mothers with a Mother’s Day photo shoot, and what beautiful moms Jefferson Park at Dandridge has! 📸💕

Residents enjoyed a lovely tea party complete with adorable tea treats and sweet fellowship. ☕🍰

One of the highlights of the week was our Fashion Show! 👗✨ Our beautiful residents were absolute showstoppers as they walked the runway with confidence and smiles. A very special thank you to Jesse Ramsey from Smoky Mountain Hospice for always being willing to help — whether it’s singing every Wednesday, doing crafts with residents, or helping make events like this so memorable.

We also had a delicious Sundae Social with brownies and every topping imaginable! 🍨🍫 Thank you to Norma from Regency for bringing toppings and always stepping in to help wherever needed.

Bouquet Bingo was another resident favorite! 🌹 Every bingo winner received a rose, and by the end of the activity we had some beautiful bouquets around the room.

And of course, we can’t forget the cookout filled with all our favorite delicious cookout foods! 🍔🌭☀️

The Activities Department would like to thank all the amazing staff at Jefferson Park who helped make this week so special and helped create meaningful memories for everyone. A special thank you to Leslie Ferguson and Donna Lane for all the creative and delicious snacks and special foods throughout the week — you both did an amazing job! 💕

Thank you to our wonderful community for donating dresses and jewelry to help make our Fashion Show so beautiful and blessed.

Mary & Gary — thank you for faithfully showing up each week ready to play bingo and love on our residents. You both mean so much to all of us! ❤️

We are beyond thankful for ALL of our incredible volunteers who dedicate their time and hearts to our residents:
First Baptist Church, Blue Springs, Marla & Friends, Jeff Greco, Lynda from Spot Lyte Karaoke, Singing with Pam and Carl, and so many others. We mentioned many volunteers from this week, but we appreciate every single one of you who make a difference in the lives of our residents each day. 💙

Today we want to recognize and celebrate Judy Roberts for an incredible 37 years of dedication as a CNA. Judy’s compassion, loyalty, and quality of care simply cannot be matched. She has touched the lives of so many residents, families, and coworkers throughout the years, and we are beyond grateful for everything she does each and every day. Thank you, Judy, for 37 amazing years of caring service and commitment!
