Lakeside Medical, PLLC is a Nurse Practitioner-owned and operated clinic that is supervised by a board certified family physician. Lakeside Medical serves patients in our immediate rural area as well as surrounding areas. We specialize in primary care, urgent care, and women's health. We offer well child exams, DOT exams, sports physicals, employment physicals, annual physicals and much more. Nurse practitioners diagnose and treat a wide range of health problems. They have a unique approach of treating patients using a holistic-based model of care. Besides clinical care, nurse practitioners focus on health promotion, disease prevention, health education, and counseling. They also help patients make wise health and lifestyle choices, partnering with them to achieve optimal health and wellness. Kristin Belcher is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 9 years of combined advanced practice and clinical nursing experience. She is also a certified by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners to perform DOT examinations. Her previous work experience includes practicing in a private office setting and an occupational health setting; she has also worked at three surrounding hospitals as a Registered Nurse and Nursing Supervisor. Kristin attended Walters State Community College in Morristown, TN where she received her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing in 2006. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN in 2009. She is also a 2012 graduate of Carson Newman University in Jefferson City, TN where she received her Master of Science in Nursing. She is a member of the Tennessee Nurses Association and also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She currently resides in Dandridge with her 11 year old son, Brock. She attends Muddy Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Dandridge, TN. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, church, and spending time on the lake.
