Breaking News!! KB Ambulance has decided to adapt. A new ambulance has been released that will only service Dunkin Donuts trips. If you have the itch for that caffeine fix contact KB directly and we will deliver from the DD Westcott Rd Danielson location.

POMFRET Taft Pond Road Bridge Replacement - Road Closure April 1st

CT Department of Transportation is announcing that bridge construction will be performed on Taft Pond Road at Mashamoquet Brook in the Town of Pomfret starting on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. There will be a road closure on Taft Pond Road from Wednesday, April 1st through Monday, November 30, 2026. Traffic detours will be in place.

With tomorrow's wintry mix on the way a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the northern half of the state.

A bit of icing will lead to some slick spots on untreated roads, driveways, and sidewalks.
