Katelyn Cramer, BC-DMT, LPC, LMHC specializes in young children and developmental differences About Sunflower Movement Therapy:
A new private psychotherapy practice offering a unique approach to mental health. Rather than talking it out, we will dance it out! Katelyn offers a warm, playful, and committed approach to therapy. She utilizes humor and a down to earth perspective with kindess at every turn. She will help you find your strengths and help guide you to meet your goals. She specializes in young children, trauma, attachment autism, developmental supports, and social skills learning.

About Katelyn:
Katelyn is a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor in CT and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in MA. She graduated Antioch University New England where she earned a Masters of Arts degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling. She studied psychomotor development of children, along with focuses on the intellectual/developmental disability and autistic communities, and older adults. Katelyn has been providing dance experiences to Massachusetts and Northeastern Connecticut for 15 years as well as working in various outpatient, day habilitation and residential programs. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a minor in Disability Studies from Springfield College where she focused her studies on choreography, modern dance and improvisation, and pedagogy. Come boogie with us!

Come celebrate Halloween with a special Me and My Mini session, Thursday morning at 10 AM! Costumes are encouraged as we dance along to not-so-spooky Halloween tunes.

This 45 minute creative movement group for ages 0 through 2.5 with a grown-up. Group is focused on adult and baby spending quality time together, fostering attachment, and baby interacting with others their age. Get groovy to upbeat music with fun props, instruments, and a story. Adult participation is required and 1-2 children per adult is recommended.

3 Week Spring Session - ADAPTIVE DANCE CLASS
RISE^ Dance - for Teens and Adults

March 28 - April 11 5pm-6pm $63.75 (3 week session) 135 Main Street Putnam CT

Our Adaptive Dance Class welcomes all types of movers and body abilities. Students will explore ballet and jazz techniques while developing a strong sense of musicality, coordination, and personal style. Proper attention is paid to muscle development, body awareness, musicality, and performance skills. Students will enjoy an upbeat class that explores a variety of styles in a fun atmosphere in a positive, inspiring, and creative environment. Each week students will expand their self-confidence and love for dance. This class is sensory informed and supportive of individual movement needs and adaptations. Neurodivergent, Autism, and/or Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities along with any mobility aids are welcome.
