Monty The Therapy Dog ‘s Agility Standard run. He was perfect (no faults)

His first run was faster but he was all over the place and ran by a few jumps. We did not qualify first run due to faults. This run was slower but he listened and watched and did everything well. Very happy with his performance.

Standard CPE agility Novice level 1. Monty had zero faults and a time of 60.11sec. He qualified for 1st place!🥇 🐾

Monty The Therapy Dog was at Lincoln Elementary in Bethlehem today. Since the school year is coming to a close, the kids gave him a present.

Monty spent the school year giving lots of children, high fives…today, they gave him a card with a high five hand print! How fitting! We love it!

Monty also showed them how smart he is when a child placed a large ball in front of him he took a prompt and thought he was supposed to stand on it. We have not seen him do this trick before but he walked right up that ball like he was a trained circus monkey. Still in shock and wishing I had my camera at that exact moment. Not to worry they told me where to buy a similar ball lol 🤪

Monty The Therapy Dog and his friend, Blaze visited Easton High School’s Animal Welfare Club today.

We love to hear the club’s mission and are very glad to help educate them on what it takes to be a therapy dog team.

Every year, Monty The Therapy Dog travels to Palmyra, PA for the Montomgery All Terrier Agility/Obedience/Rally trials. It is the dog performance sport pairing with the HUGE Montgomery All Terrier Conformation Show in Macungie, PA, the same week.

This year, the performance events run from Monday Sept 28 to Thursday October 1st.

Monty's Mom, Tracy Gasdik Krapf , is part of the Scottish Terrier Club's Agility Committee. This year, we are hosting fundraising events to help offset the cost of the facility, ribbons etc.

Monty The Therapy Dog and Tracy Gasdik Krapf competed in a Rally League at Great Companions, LLC over the past two Saturdays.

Monty The Therapy Dog is just an all around good boy!

Friday he spent time visiting staff and visitors at LVHN Muhlenberg.

Saturday he competed in day one of C-Wags Rally League at Great Companions, LLC (results after next week’s trial but spoiler alert he’s completed at least two titles and possibly an ACE (championship).

Today we are in Palmyra for an AKC agility trial. Getting experience in high intensity, double show rings and maybe a qualifying score (fingers crossed but no expectations this is a tough venue)
