Connecting with other dads of children/adults with disabilities can make a huge difference. It offers emotional support, reduces isolation, and creates a community of people who truly get it. These groups give fathers a place to share, learn practical tips, and build confidence as caregivers and advocates.

Why connecting with other dads matters:

You’re not alone: Meeting other fathers in similar situations helps ease loneliness and creates a safe space to share and be understood.
Emotional support: Talking with others who “get it” helps relieve stress and boosts mental well‑being.
Real-life tips & resources: Dads can trade ideas, problem-solve together, and share helpful tools for daily and long‑term challenges.
Stronger advocacy: When fathers connect, they gain strength to advocate for better services and support for their kids.
We are looking forward to seeing you at our next virtual meeting, where we will be planning in-person activities as well.

Autism Advocacy Day at the State House!
We are thrilled to invite our Northeast Arc families to join us at the Massachusetts State House on April 8th, 2026, as we celebrate the 21st Anniversary of this powerful Day of Awareness!

This annual gathering is more than an event—it is a movement.
A moment when our community comes together to stand for progress, visibility, and meaningful change.

Our Northeast Arc Family Support Centers are honored to welcome you to a day filled with advocacy, connection, and collective strength.
If you have never attended before, this is an experience that stays with you.
Standing in the State House alongside hundreds of families, sharing stories, meeting with legislators, and speaking out for what our loved ones with autism truly need—it is powerful, emotional, and deeply inspiring.
Your presence matters. - Your Voices Matter!

Together, we can shape the future—not only for your own family/but for every individual with autism across the Commonwealth.

This is advocacy at its most meaningful.
When we show up together, we amplify each other’s voices and move our community forward.
We hope you will stand with us on April 8th.

Let’s make this 21st Anniversary one to remember.

I hope to see you at the Stste House on April 8th!
