Sending healing prayers and thoughts to all those who are missing their moms, and to all those mothers and grandmothers whose hearts are aching for the children who left this earthly realm way too soon. Remember that your angels are close at hand. They are guiding you, protecting you, and most surely, loving you every day of your life. Lord, please bless all of these special souls. May they experience the Divine Mother’s loving embrace. And may they be blessed with Your eternal healing, wisdom, love and peace.

“6 months ago I herniated a disc in my lower back (L4-L5) carrying a heavy elliptical machine out of a basement. As a yoga teacher it was extremely humbling. For 3 weeks I couldn't practice yoga. Then when I rolled out my mat, I couldn't do ANY backbends or forward bends. I was forced to use straps and blocks to modify my asanas. Every day I was dealing with the fear that I might never return to my former self. My weekly AO Scan sessions played a key role in reducing inflammation and facilitating healing. Slowly I worked to regain my mojo. Today I wouldn't even know where the injury was located. I have absolutely no lingering pain or any limitations in strength or range of motion.
