Rice cakes once, ice daggers now! Already had my first fall of the season. Fortunately landed on my behind. So no broken skin or bones this time by God's blessings. Sipping on hot turmeric milk and feeling grateful to be safe and warm 😊🙏

**Sell/Buy/Move/Fly** - Dear friends, past couple of months have been grueling to say the least and full of uncertainty. But happy to share that I am indeed moving to a new abode. And a day later after moving, am flying to Dubai for the 3rd International AYUSH conference. So things are going to be crazier if that is even possible 😆😁 Please bear with my late responses and absences. It is a big transition - and I am seeking your love and blessings for the successful accomplishment of the same!!

NOTE: Students and clients pls note and order your supplements and book your follow ups at the earliest ☺️

**Meal Prep from my kitchen, Post 1B, with recipe - refer to my previous post for context and for the video - Let me know if you would like me to post more content like this ☺️** Picture for interest only!
Thanks for giving so much love to my previous video on meal prep 🤗🥰 Many of you asked for a recipe. Hence this post.

First of all, chapatis (Indian breads) can be made in many many different ways, with different flour mixes and in different styles. So instead of focusing on a linear recipe, I invite you to focus on the concept, the principle.

Feel free to pick up 2 or more healthy flours (whole, unaltered), mix them in a proportion of your liking (I took 4 flours - all 1:1), added lots of spices like turmeric, ginger powder, turmeric and seeds like sesame and black seeds, a lot of fresh cream (i have a huge stock from my farm bought whole milk and needed to use up) - you can use any healthy oil or fat, salt and then kneaded with warm water. Let it rest for 15 mts an then proceeded to make chapatis.

Adding a fat to the flour mix helps make chapatis softer and also improves shelf life. I also added a little ghee to the hot chapatis as they came off the skillet to keep them further soft.

I have been using these as pockets or sides with my different dry and wet curries respectively.

Let me know if you had any more questions. Give it a try and share back pics with comments!

BTW I also added salt and some spices to my dough and put dollops of ghee as the chapatis came off the skillet!!😋 Ghee is yummy and healthful of course but also keeps the chapatis soft.

I had heard a lot about him. Finally, thanks to Ranjit Puranik (Managing Director of Shree Dhootapapeshwar Ltd., a family led enterprise of 5 generations involved in Ayurveda products manufacturing) I was able to meet him in Mumbai - circa 2016. A humble, brilliant scholar of Ayurveda. Sad to note of his passing - Ayurvedic fraternity has lost a gem. May God bless his soul with sadgati 🙏🙏
