Last night I had the opportunity to share space with 12 other healers at .shop thanks to the community minded who is always sharing her gifts and ideas to help us all feel connected and supported as we hold space for and guide others in a tumultuous time (ahemโ€ฆ.understatement of the century)!

As someone who walks between worlds (recovering TypeA perfectionist) and is finding my space among like minded people, itโ€™s vulnerable to walk into the unknown, not knowing how Iโ€™ll be received. Putting on the mask daily to be prim and proper and poised and put together, can be exhausting while also holding space for my own and otherโ€™s healing (which, if you missed the memo, is anything but poised). Iโ€™m beyond grateful to Grace and this community of healers that Iโ€™m meeting, for being raw and real. Space like this is invaluable to me because while Iโ€™ve been in this world of shifting physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energy since 2009, Iโ€™m only just now stepping deeply out of the comfort zone to expand my peer community

From there it was a whirlwind! Graduation wknd, epic trip to Paris & the Amalfi coast of Italy, mini adventures, and many more plans coming as we map out the next few years and even a few final late summer adventures!

โ€ข Polar Seltzer Lime ๐Ÿ‹โ€๐ŸŸฉ
โ€ข Oliipop Grape ๐Ÿ‡
โ€ข Lime ๐Ÿ‹โ€๐ŸŸฉ juice to taste
Half and half over ice ๐ŸงŠ 20cal 2.5gsugar per drink if you use half a can of Olipop to half a can of lime seltzer seltzer

BACK IN THE OFFICE 6/5! As I look forward to restarting healing and client sessions THURSDAY June 5th, I reflect back on this time off and this trip ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น with my family: Iโ€™m so grateful for everything that it represents. This trip was truly the culmination of everything that my we have worked for in the 30 years since we started our lives together. Our dreams were simple: Find a house that we could make into our home near enough to our roots to have family close; Work hard at something that we were passionate about and that creates positive change for others; Allow that work to provide balance for our family, in terms of raising happy, healthy humans and providing for them financially; Respect & encourage each otherโ€™s growth; Providing the kids with access to education that would guide their futures. From that point on, we knew travel was going to be part of our empty nest and adult children years.

This trip has set the stage for many more to come. We learned a lot about how we travel together and managing one anotherโ€™s energies. I also learned that traveling with a 19yp daughter includes a LOT of outfit changes and photo ops. ๐Ÿคฃ

Iโ€™m grateful to my clients for being flexible as I shift into at least one week of travel every quarter (so far in 2025 Iโ€™m 2 for 2 with a September trip in the works to keep me honest), and I am grateful for the gift that is this business/this work that has changed my life since 2009.( 1998 if you count when i started practicing yoga). No bake power protein balls. 3 cups rolled oats1/2c vanilla vegan protein powder 1/3c chocolate collagen protein powder ...

No bake power protein balls.
3 cups rolled oats
1/2c vanilla vegan protein powder
1/3c chocolate collagen protein powder
1/2c organic raw local honey ๐Ÿฏ
1 1/14 cup natural PB
1tsp vanilla
2TBSP chia seeds
3TBSP mini semi sweet chocolate chips

Mix all dry ingredients and then add others and mix into a sticky dough consistency. If too dry, you can add small amount of almond milk or more PB. Use cookie scoop to form palm sized balls and place on waxed paper lined cookie sheet. Chill till ready to eat.

Optional: add coffee grounds for a mocha and a touch of caffeine.

This batch made 18. Roughly 10g protein and a great pre or post workout snack. Next time Iโ€™m adding shredded coconut! Kids are obsessed with them for after the gym!
