This week we’re blending Ancient Rome with modern comforts. Yesterday we whipped up a batch of honey cakes using a recipe that is over 2,000 years old!
Today we served them up with a delicious Italian almond tea at our monthly birthday gathering.
Fun fact: ancient Romans did not drink tea or coffee. Caffeinated beverages were not introduced to Europe until the 17th century.
