As I look at this photo from our very first days working together, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you, Michele, for saying
“yes” all those years ago (I think 15, wow!) for taking a chance on a young mom with a wild dream of starting a new business. You believed in me when I was still learning to believe in myself. For over 15 years, you have been my number one supporter, encourager and rock in the office. Your loyalty is unmatched. You are real, authentic, hard-working, and some how the master of doing 4 things at once...and keeping up with my crazy mind and energy.
You often knew what I needed before I even said a word. I truly could not have come this far without you. I am eternally grateful for you!! You have also been an incredible spiritual mentor to me.
We’ve laughed until we cried...prayed with and for each other, and also for patients. (how cool is that?) You have walked with me through the hard, the scary, the joyful and the fun moments in my life. You have truly been the office mom, even though we are more like sisters. I will miss the warmth, comfort and joy you brought ever single day. I’ll miss the treats, chocolate covered almonds and spicy hard boiled eggs, I will miss the honor of having you right here at the office, seeing your friendly face and contagious joy every week. Beyond the office, you have left a lasting imprint on my life. 20 years ago... you showed me my favorite hike and prayer spot. God had a plan, when we sat together at Mother’s Together. Your friendship is one of God’s greatest gifts to me. Michele, I love you and I cherish you! Thank you for walking through life with me, through the tears, the milestones, and the celebrations. You deserve this next chapter more than anyone I know, being with your family and grandkids..and traveling to all the places that God leads you. And i’ll be calling you and picking you on my way up the hill!
