Evangelist Margie Ann Richardson Wilson Johnson,87, of 845 Claiborne St., departed this life, peacefully, at the residence of her daughter, Karen Green in Greensboro, N.C., Monday, February 16, 2026.
She was born in Danville, October 29, 1938 to the late Bernice Hines Baxter and Haywood Baxter. She was married to Robert E. Johnson, who survives.
She leaves to cherish her memory four loving and caring daughters: Robin West, Karen Green, Gwen Stephens(Jermaine),and Angela Hairston; 13 grandchildren,21 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Harris(Willie) and one brother, Joseph Richardson(Evelyn) two children preceded her in death: Pastor Kenneth Wilson and Wendy Bennett
A viewing will be held Friday, Feb. 20, 2026 from 4:00-6:00P.M. from DL McLaughlin Funeral Chapel 4960 Riverside Dr.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026@11:00 A.M. from DL McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with Apostle Sharon Motley delivering the Word of Comfort.
Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park.

It’s with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Mrs. Verna Mae Wilson Lomax,91, of 202 Bannister Ct., who departed this life, Monday, February 16, 2026 at her residence. She was born in the Almagro Community of Danville, VA on January 5, 1935 to the late Archie Wilson and Susie Gunn Wilson. She is survived by a son, Gary Lomax; her sister, Mrs. Shirley Ann Wilson Brown other relatives and friends.

Our hearts are heavy but yet we rejoice as another soldier has gone home to be with the Lord. Bishop Arthur R. Linder of 154 Kirkwood Dr., passed away, Monday, January 19, 2026 at his residence.

He was born December 5, 1940 in Salisbury, North Carolina to the late Dugar Linder and Robertta Alexander Linder. He was married to the late Mother Rose Jackson Linder and later to Mother Sandra Dean Linder.

He served as pastor of the Mt. Sinai Glorious Church of God for the past 53 years. He was Senior Prelate of the Glorious Church of God, Inc.

The Local Celebration of Life: Bishop will lie in state Friday, January 30, 2026 from 3:00-5:00P.M., Words of Reflection from 5:00-6:00P.M. Celebration of Life Service 6:00-8:00P.M.

National Homegoing Service Saturday, January 31, 2026@10:00A.M.
All services will be held at Mt. Sinai Glorious Church of God,716 Jefferson St.
