Deacon Thompson departed this life at SOVAH Health at the age of 95 yrs.
He was married to the late Katrina Holland Thompson who passed away in 2007.

It’s with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Ms. Marion Annette Stephens,64, of 216 Banner St., Sunday, July 6, 2025@ SOVAH Health.
She was born December 4, 1960 in Java, VA to the late Willard Thomas Stephens and Agnes Robertson Stephens. She was employed by Brookdale Nursing Home as a Med Tech.
She is survived by her only child, Damien Lamar Stephens of the residence; one sister, Pamela Hairston; two brothers, Willard T. Stephens Jr. AKA “Mike” and David R. Stephens. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025@ Noon from the D.L. McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Interment will be privately held at a later date.
